Thanksgiving Dinner Planner & Checklist – Printable & Fillable PDF

From Nana's kitchen to yours 🦃

I'm Nana Dee, and Thanksgiving in our family means a full table, a long to-do list, and six dogs underfoot: my pack (Thor, Harley and Lex) plus the grand-dogs who come along with the family, all hoping something hits the floor. I made this planner because I was tired of sticky notes on the fridge and finding out the night before that the turkey wasn't thawed.

Now everything lives in one place: who's coming, who's bringing what, and whose house we're at this year. My kids and I trade off every year, so even though I always do the cooking, the real question is whose kitchen I'm cooking in! It also keeps track of when the turkey goes in and which dish gets the oven next.

This 8-page planner keeps your whole holiday organized, from the first invite to the last slice of pie. Type right into it on your computer or tablet, or print it and fill it in by hand.

What's inside:

• Cover page
• Thanksgiving at a Glance + 4-week countdown checklist
• Guest list with RSVPs, what each guest is bringing, and food allergy notes
• Menu planner: appetizers, main dish, sides, breads, desserts and drinks
• Shopping list sorted by grocery section
• Turkey & thaw planner with fridge-thawing and roasting time charts
• Thanksgiving Day cooking timeline (so two dishes never need the oven at once)
• Seating chart, leftovers tracker and a "thankful for" page

Nana's tip for pet parents 🐾
With a houseful of dogs, I keep cooked turkey bones, onions, garlic, grapes and raisins out of reach, no matter how hard they beg. Add a "please don't feed the dogs" note to your guest list page so everyone knows the rule.
